Anti-Corruption Commission Investigators, assisted by Officers from the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service, arrested an individual yesterday (3 October 2019) in connection with an ongoing investigation.
Responsible for investigating serious allegations of corruption the Investigators arrested the 38 year old female, from the Prospect area, on suspicion of committing Breach of Trust, contrary to s.13 of the Anti-Corruption Law (2018 Revision).
The female, who is a public officer, was initially detained for questioning but has since been released on bail.
No further details will be released at this time.
