Press Release: Charges Against Mr. Canover Watson, Mr. Jeffrey Webb and Ms. Miriam Rodriguez
In connection with the ongoing investigation into the Carepay project, further charges have today been laid at Court in relation to Canover Watson, Jeffrey Webb and Miriam Rodriguez.
Mr. Watson and Mr. Webb have been jointly charged with the following offences:
- Two charges of Conspiracy to Defraud (contrary to Common Law); and
- One charge of Breach of Trust (contrary to section 13 Anti-Corruption Law 2008).
Mr. Watson, Mr. Webb and Ms. Rodriguez have been jointly charged with the following offence:
- One charge of Conspiracy to convert criminal property (contrary to section 321 of the Penal Code 2010 Revision and section 133 Proceeds of Crime Law 2010 Revision).
