Her Excellency the Governor, Helen Kilpatrick, CB, is pleased to announce the appointments of Richard Coles, W. Norman Bodden, OBE, Sophia Harris, Kadi Pentney, and Timothy Ridley, OBE to the Anti-Corruption Commission (“the ACC”).
The terms of appointment began 15 August 2016 and run for staggered terms of between two and three years.
Established by the Schedule of the Anti-Corruption Law 2014 Revision (“the Law”), the ACC takes responsibility for the administration of the Law and has broad reaching powers, to investigate reports of corruption, liaise with overseas anti-corruption authorities, and obtain Court Orders to freeze the assets of those suspected of committing corruption offences.
